PT BLUESCOPE STEEL INDONESIA WAS FORMED IN 1994
THE BUSINESS COMMISSIONED ITS FLAT STEEL METALLIC COATING AND PAINTING FACILITY IN CILEGON IN 1995.
NS BlueScope Indonesia is a joint venture company between BlueScope Steel Limited and Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation (NSSMC). Previously, BlueScope Steel Indonesia (curently NS BlueScope Indonesia) was formed in 1994. The business commissioned its flat steel metallic coating and painting facility in Cilegon in 1995. To bring access to new technology and assist in developing a broader range of customers, BlueScope Indonesia established a joint venture with NSSMC. PT NS BlueScope Indonesia is now one of the prominent local manufacturers of zinc / aluminum metallic coated steel.
